Sorry for interrupt some aspects:

Load-deformation curve for bamboo-shaped pile test shows some relatively flat comparing with the same sized smooth tubular pile's machanics characteristic in this aspect --the later's ultimate bearing capacity  is more 50% lower than the former one.
